Melina Masihi, MD, PhD, is a physician–scientist and former Director of Clinical Programs at Northwestern Hospital and Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, where she spent more than a decade improving clinical pathways, advancing early diagnosis, and strengthening the patient experience across gastroenterology, oncology, and hematology. With over 12 years of clinical practice and leadership across more than 70 clinical trials, she is recognized for her commitment to reducing diagnostic delays, expanding access to care, and elevating patient education for diverse communities.

Dr. Masihi earned her MD and PhD in Oncology and Healthcare Services, combining clinical depth with systems-level insight. She has collaborated with leading global pharmaceutical and medical technology organizations, including AstraZeneca, Merck, Medtronic, and Boehringer Ingelheim, to design patient-centered research, enhance diagnostic strategies, and support innovations that improve outcomes across the care continuum.

In addition to her academic and industry contributions, Dr. Masihi serves with the Stanford High Impact Technology (HIT) Fund, evaluating early-stage technologies that empower patients and address unmet needs in timely, equitable care delivery. She remains dedicated to advancing healthcare that is not only clinically excellent but also compassionate, accessible, and deeply human. She also serves on InnoTech’s Medical and Scientific Advisory Board, where she guides strategy for biomarker discovery and early cancer detection. Her leadership supports the advancement of precision diagnostics, reflecting an unwavering commitment to healthcare that is clinically excellent, compassionate, and profoundly human-centered.
