Sara Al-Rumaikhani

Sara Abdullah Alrumikhani is a Patient Experience Director and a dedicated advocate for advancing patient-centered care. Born to a Qassimi father and a Syrian mother, she was raised in Jeddah, bringing a rich multicultural perspective to her professional journey.

She holds a Master’s degree in Health Administration from the University of Scranton, where she also served as President of the Saudi Club. Under her leadership, the club was recognized among the top 10 student organizations in 2009.

Sara has actively contributed to international dialogue, participating in global conferences and panel discussions focused on Islam and the Muslim patient experience. She credits her family and her country for shaping her deep appreciation of cultural diversity and her strong understanding of Islamic values in healthcare. During her time in the United States, she also volunteered with multiple organizations and engaged with the Scranton community through speaking engagements.

With over 15 years of professional experience, including more than 7 years dedicated to patient and staff experience, Sara brings a strong track record of driving transformation within healthcare organizations. She has held leadership roles across leading private hospitals in Jeddah, consistently contributing to improvements in quality, service delivery, and patient experience.

Her experience spans administrative healthcare operations, health promotion, and financial services, including roles at a bank and as a team leader in the health promotion section at NGHA. This diverse background enables her to approach challenges holistically — identifying issues, designing solutions, and aligning stakeholders toward shared goals.

Sara is highly skilled in end-to-end project planning and execution, from defining target audiences and structuring workflows to coordinating cross-functional teams, developing budgets, and leading implementation. She also brings expertise in community engagement, educational program development, and strategic communication across diverse audiences.
