Dr. Badria Mekkawy

Dr. Badria Mekkawy, PhD, MSN, is Clinical Informatics Lead at ZONE, bringing 25 years of nursing leadership across Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Bahrain. A former Chief Nursing Officer with extensive experience in hospital commissioning, and Corporate Chief Nursing Officer with a multi-facility network in Egypt, she has led clinical governance and corporate nursing strategy throughout her career. A recognized American Heart Association Training Center Faculty and Coordinator, Dr. Mekkawy is also a sought-after speaker on stroke management and healthcare quality improvement. She holds a PhD in Hospital Management and Health Economics, with her thesis exploring the role of digital transformation in improving the quality of healthcare services.
