Dr. Christopher Pettengell

Dr. Christopher Pettengell is recognized as an early pioneer in applying artificial intelligence to healthcare. He has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed publications at the intersection of AI, clinical research, and real-world evidence, including several first-of-their-kind studies in AI-powered cancer staging, learning health systems, and the use of large language models to identify patients with rare diseases. Dr. Pettengell earned his MD from Oxford University, where he was awarded a Rhodes Scholarship for his research in HIV. He spent several years as a vascular surgeon at Imperial College London before hanging up his scrubs to join the emerging field of medical AI with PENTAVERE, a leading healthcare technology company.
